Type of cargo
Grain/bulk
Define grain and dry bulk holds by volume, weight, ullage, or percentage. Position moveable grain bulkheads and tween deck panels.
Containers
Allows interactive container positioning. contains numerous container specific loading options, like electronic loading data exchange.
Pipe stack
Define open pipes as deck cargo, for example for off-shore supply vessels. The module can take water trapped in pipes into account as well.
RoRo
Define open pipes as deck cargo, for example for off-shore supply vessels. The module can take water trapped in pipes into account as well.
Extra modules for equipment
Cranes
Load cargo with one or two (coupled) cranes. The exact location of the hanging loads are taken into account. Loss of load extension available.
Tank sounding
Calculate the volume and weight of a tank's content accurately. The module can optionally communicate with automatic draft and tank gauge systems.
Hatches
Keep track of the use of tween deck hatches, incorporating their weight in all loading conditions. Hatches may possibly also be used as grain bulkheads.
Anchor chain forces
Keep track of maximum allowable anchor chain forces during anchor handling, according to the NMD (2007), Bureau Veritas (2014) or IS 2020 guidelines.
Draft survey
Calculates cargo weight based on measured drafts or freeboards before and after cargo handling. Ballast water and consumables can be taken into account.

Line of sight
Comply with line of sight criteria as stipulated by IMO regulations. Integrates neatly with the modules General cargo and Containers.
Following seas
High quartering and following seas may inflict immediate danger to a vessel. This module assists in avoiding dangerous speeds or courses.
Damage control
Check the vessel's stability in a predefined or real damaged condition. The module can verify against criteria for several stages of flooding.
Ice accretion
Calculates the weight and COG of the ice accretion for stability calculations by taking the ship's outer layout into consideration.
IMDG
The IMDG code extension in the LOCOPIAS assists in the loading of dangerous cargo by real time validation against the IMDG requirements.
Ballast advice
This feature 'plays' with the ballast quantities in order to get that fixed after the user specifies the goal and boundary conditions.
BAPLIE
With the BAPLIE option, you can read and write container data files with the BAPLIE-format (up till the most recent version).
Tanks reading
With this option the tank volumes, and possibly other data, are automatically read from the tank measurement system which is used on board.
Monitoring
With this module you can set an interval for reading out all tanks, calculating and updating all data in the main screen.
Lashing
Module which calculates the strength of the container lashing system for any stack.
